About the event
We invite you to join us in a STRONG and PEACEFUL street lined No Kings Protest in Fairport NY, on October 18, a National day of saying NO KINGS! WE THE PEOPLE have the POWER and WE REJECT this administration’s fascism, lawlessness, military presence in our cities, and defiance of our constitutional rights.
This peaceful protest will be what is called a honk and wave, where you sit or stand waving signs. This will take place on W. Church Street in Fairport, on public property, located on the tree lawn which is between the sidewalk and the street. No march is planned for this protest, and it will be substantially marshaled for everyone’s peace of mind.
This protest is organized by G.R.I.T. Greater Rochester Integrity and Truth. G.R.I.T. is a grassroots political action group established in 2024 in Fairport, NY. We believe it’s important to 1) take action, 2) be knowledgeable, and 3) be supported by community. Find us on Facebook, or email grit.roc@gmail.com We meet twice monthly in Fairport.
