About the event
The Rochester Mutual Aid Network is organizing a community skillshare to build USB rechargeable heated blankets for unhoused neighbors this winter. These blankets provide critical warmth and can save lives during Rochester's harsh winter months.
How to Participate
Join the Skillshare: Come to Tru Yoga on November 15th to help build blankets together. No experience necessary and this is a hands-on learning opportunity where the community comes together for direct action.
Donate Funds: Contributions support purchasing supplies for the blanket-building event. Donations can be made through the campaign page.
Donate Fabric: The project needs fleece in approximate dimensions of 50" x 60" (similar to no-sew throw kits). Drop off fabric donations at Tru Yoga during regular open hours.
