Perinton Food Shelf

Perinton Food Shelf provides emergency food relief exclusively to residents of the 14450 zip code (Fairport/Perinton area). Clients call to request assistance and receive a week's supply of food based on  household size, packaged for pickup at their facility in Fairport. The organization is staffed primarily by volunteers and relies on donated food and monetary contributions to purchase fresh produce, dairy, and  meat products.

Brighton Food Cupboard

Operating through Jewish Family Service of Rochester, Brighton Food Cupboard follows a case management model. Clients don't come to the cupboard, instead case managers shop for them and deliver food directly to homes, ensuring dignity and reducing transportation barriers.

Trillium Health operates three food pantry locations serving anyone with a need for food. Their main location at 259 Monroe Avenue operates like a grocery store where clients choose their own food, including fresh produce, frozen foods, pet food, and hygiene items.

Being Black in the Burbs

A grassroots organization focused on highlighting and combating  anti-Black racism and providing mutual aid to Rochester's Black  community. They take specific requests for money, food, and household  goods through their social media platforms and provide direct assistance to families in need.

Agape Haven

Agape Haven of Abundance

Agape Haven of Abundance is a grassroots nonprofit providing food security and community support to reduce intergenerational poverty in Rochester's high-poverty zip codes. Their Hunger Relief program serves fresh food and groceries to upwards of 100 people per day on weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM, and distributes boxes of fresh produce once per month.
