Mutual aid is about recognizing that we're all vulnerable sometimes and we all have a responsibility to each other. Online donation networks collect funds and move them fast to people facing emergencies, supporting everything from emergency rent assistance to community mutual aid projects. When you give, you're saying: our neighbors' survival matters to me.
Rochester LGBTQ+ Mutual Aid
An independent program of Rochester LGBTQ+ Together serving LGBTQIA2S+ individuals in Rochester and Monroe County with basic needs including food, rent, utilities, and transportation. They operate three funds: Mutual Aid Group Fund, Emergency Relief Fund, and Trans Joy & Self-care Fund.
